340 g Tuna in Brine (or spring water), drained and flaked
1 medium apple(s), peeled, cored and minced
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon oregano, dried
1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
50 g dried bread crumbs or Corn flake crumbs
Small amount of MCT Oil
4 medium burger bun
4 level teaspoon Dijon mustard
20 g spinach, (4 leaves, one for each bun)
Mix the burger ingredients together. Allow to stand for 3-5 minutes.
Coat a frying pan with the MCT Oil and heat over a low-medium heat.
Form the tuna mixture into 4 patties. Cook until crispy on one side then flip and cook until crispy
on the other side.
Serve on the buns with spinach and Dijon mustard.
